Chateau Khoury | Perseides 2012

This wine comes from a rigorous selection of grapes representing the vintage particularity and is given the best attention during its development. It is a wine of great nobility, the result of all the love that the Khoury family brings to the vines!
Tasting Notes: An intense garnet colour. The wine has a very expressive and open nose. Hints of red berries like strawberry and raspberry are to be found immediately along with light woody hints, spiced with thyme and coriander. The mouth feel is sound and strong, its framework tannic and tight, and powerful overall. The freshness and complexity line the mouth and leave a peppery feeling that recalls the ripe Syrah that is dominant in this blend. This finish is subtle on spices and despite its age keeps a nice structure on the tightened tannins which foretell a beautiful future.
